Clothes - care guide
Care advice for our clothes
It´s important that you take care of your clothes so the quality and durability will maintain. We manufacture products from carefully selected materials with high quality to give you the best conditions for lifelong products. With that comes care advice.
If it´s not the current season, we recommend that you keep your garments hanging or completely flat. Then there will be no wear where it otherwise would be fold. Avoid storage clothes in too high heat and in spaces where humidity varies greatly.
Care advice - Fleece
Fleece material should not be wash more than necessary. The best advice is to be airing the clothes and spot wash in case of stains. To avoid unnecessary wear, don´t dry with heat like dryers and drying cabinets. The fleece material dries quickly, so hang up your clothes with a hanger instead.
Care advice - PU
PU – material means that the garments are both wind and waterproof without the need for impregnation or finishing. All our PU garments are free of PVC and fluorocarbon.
Clothes with PU - material can be wash at 40 °C, but we recommend not to exceed 30 °C. The best way to clean your clothes is with a damp cloth. Remember to turn the clothes inside out when drying, the PU coating does not let any air through
Care advice - Wool
Wool is a material that don´t attract so much dirt. It´s usually enough to just brush it off and air the wool garment to keep it clean. If the clothes need a more proper wash, it´s important to make it careful. All products that we offer with wool are mix with synthetic fibers. It´s good to wash with a laundry bag to spare the garment but also collect the microfibers.
Remember to use detergents that are adapted for wool and preferably a wool program. If the dryers don´t offer that, you can instead use the hand washing program.
Care advice - Membrane
Outer garments that "breathe" are made with membrane material. It means that there are like small pores in the fabric that let the heat through from us, but they don´t let water droplets through from the outside. Which makes the clothes waterproof and breathable.
You should regularly treat the garments with impregnation to protect the membrane. Avoid high spin speeds and temperatures above 40 °C when you are washing. For the well-being of clothes, use a special detergent intended for waterproof clothing and never use rinse aid. It blocks the fine pores of the membrane and destroys the properties of the material. It´s important to reactivate impregnation in clothes after washing. This can be done by tumble drying or ironing the garment. But remember not to use too high heat.
